Very interesting how you traded places in the interview. I felt some commonality, as I spearheaded and helped put together the "Teen ComicAge & Animation Festival" for 5 years. Also, when working in distribution, I got invited to many film festivals around the world. Now, after so many years, I only attend one, but am concentrating on making films. I only make shorts if I am making a feature at the same time. And as far as documentaries go, I like to make a meld of the documentary and the narrative feature, whenever I can. And soon I will be organizing another film festival, maybe I should call it a showcase, because it will be different than any film festival ever before.
