Ted - that Rodnyansky headline reads a bit misleading. He has ben sentenced IN ABSENTIA, meaning if he steps foot in Russia, they will put him in jail but he is a free man, outside of Russia. I follow him for years (and even had some dealings with his office). He is a brave and outspoken man.
Isn't it nuts that he was also one of the producers on Cloud Atlas and the 2nd Sin City film? He also created a tv channel. Not just Cannes-oriented films like Leviathan, etc.

Yes, the first film I made was considered a horror film and is now streaming around the world and also available on DVD. It's called "Grave Images" and is older than some of the members of this substack.
