Amen to all these questions, Ted. We experienced firsthand how Google was censoring our stories about trans and LGBTQ kids and labeling it as “shocking content.” The cultural anesthesia that is being injected into our society by these companies is staggering and without precedent. Holy moly, where’s it all going?
I notice that most filmmakers, gamers, programmers, are all negative, they are looking for enemies to blame their failures on. Instead of concentrating on solutions, they try to frame a picture of life from their point of view. They pick the good guys and the villains and go from there. If they just looked clearly at the problem and searched for the solutions to those problems and put that into their storyline and embedded that way of thinking into their heroes and heroines, we would have an evolution in the entertainment industry and perhaps find ourselves in a new, exciting and evolving world.
