HFF's The5: 02.25.24 Edition

just looking for the tells as to where we really are right now

I was going to discontinue The5 — my formerly weekly drop of links from beyond the realm of Substack, the ones that I felt should speak to or influence those of us who aspire to a new NonDē mode of Cultural production and distribution.

I don’t think we’ve found a satisfying way to amplify such information. I once felt that was what the SMP (social media platforms) were for — and yes Substack is one of those (but it is also something more). I’ve tried using both Substack’s “Notes” and “Chat” tool for such dissemination, but it just doesn’t significantly catch. So here I am, back placing such prompts in your inbox. I do think I will do it less consistently than before though. I am going to try to be a bit more strict as to what makes it on the list.
