Forgive The Haters
because sometimes, you've just got to share.
Maybe I am amazed…. but it sure does capture this moment and made me smile through the pain.
I don’t do this sort of stuff often, so trust me, you want to watch this now.

I left LA almost 18 months ago after a somewhat successful 17 years of working there as a re-recording mixer. I loved my job. But my dedication to "do what it takes" to get it done, was killed the day the statement "we'll keep this strike going until people start losing their homes" was made by a producer in the middle of the strike. My attitude went to, "just get the job done".
The strike was still going when we decided to leave. Staying would mean eating through the remains of our life savings and home equity. Part of what had been used during covid. Staying would be just treading water, and we'd never recover what we lost. And being within 3 years of hitting 65, it was the best decision ever. We moved to Greece. Planning on moving to the south of France in the next 18 months. Seen some really lovely houses that are very affordable. I know numerous people that tried to weather the storm, who have now lost everything. I'm really happy I'm not wasting my life anymore to contribute to someone else buying yet another home and third luxury car. My life is mine. And the tech bros have destroyed Hollywood. They don't care scout people's talent or expertise. They think everyone can be replaced by Ai.
Thank you
